Don’t’ blame the dog
Dogs do what they’re trained to do. The recent death of a 7-year-old boy was a preventable tragedy. Supposedly this animal was a “family pet”.

Have you seen the commercial where a guy is paying for coffee with cash - and the cashier and other customers glare at him until he squirms and appears to feel "quilty"? The next customer pays with a credit card and everyone is happy. And the next one, and the next one. All is well as long as the robots use plastic for the recorded transaction. Why, if you use cash we can't track who you are, where you came from, and where you're going next...

Sorry to be negative in the face of tragedy, but...
Looks like this will bolster the case for a brand new infrastructure. As long as this segment of Interstate 35 has to be rebuilt anyway, they will probably step up and begin laying the foundation for the North American Super Corridor.
